"Insert-a-Blind" is an exciting new process for creating easily customizable window blinds. To create each blind, the digitally printed art is cut into uniform strips and inserted into the clear channel grooves on each slate. When the slates are in the closed position, the image is uniform with no overlap or light holes. Insert-A-Blind provides complete privacy when in the closed position. Because the art is not glued or laminated to the blind, the look of the blind can be altered quickly, easily, and affordably. Simply remove the strips from the clear channel grooves. You can then use the blind without any art or insert new strips for a completely different look. Q. How are the murals installed? A. All murals are un-pasted, and they are shipped with at least an inch of white selvedge material on all sides of the print to protect it during shipping. This selvedge will need to be trimmed off prior to installation. Detailed hanging and care instructions are provided with each mural. All standard-size murals are printed as a single panel for simple, seamless installation. We recommend using a wallpaper primer such as Shieldz or Romans Ultra-Prime, as well as any clear, non-staining wallpaper adhesive. Be sure to carefully read and follow the instructions provided. Q. Yes, simply contact us with your mural size and the type of image that you want to use for the mural, and we’ll provide you with a quote and guidelines for submitting your artwork or photography. Please keep in mind that many images are copyright protected, and we will need to be sure that we have permission to use these images before we can produce them as murals. Q. What is a mural-style border? A. A mural-style border is a wallpaper border with a panoramic repeat up to 12 feet in length. Unlike most traditional wallpaper borders that repeat every 12 to 24 inches, the long repeats of mural-style borders tell a story around the room. Q. What is Art on Canvas? Can I get sizes other than those shown? A. Art on Canvas are beautiful, detailed canvas prints that are hand-stretched over natural wood frames. Art on Canvas prints are a great way to cover a heavily textured wall. Hanging hardware is included with every Art on Canvas order. Yes, you can get custom-sized Art on Canvas. We will not hand-stretch any canvas that is over 46 inches in height or width due to the high cost of shipping these large prints. Your customer can, however, purchase the un-stretched canvas print from us and have it framed or stretched by a local retailer. Please contact us for a price quote. Q. How do I clean these products? A. Murals, Borders, and Accent Murals: Sponge clean your wallcovering with a lukewarm, mild detergent solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners containing chlorine bleach, solvents, or ammonia as they may attack and damage the printed surface.
